Don't expect perfection. Just that simple, but what does that mean?
Well when you begin to quilt you have looked at shop samples, magazine pictures, admired your friends accomplishments, quilt shows and how to books on making quilts. The pictures, the samples, they all look perfect. Let me tell you it didn't start out like that. Every quilter and crafter started from right where you are right now, the beginning. And believe me their projects were not perfect. You learn with every project you make, take your time, read your instructions, follow your heart. You will know when you have arrived. The feeling of joy, pride and willingness to take the compliment, " that's a beautiful piece", it will happen. Enjoy the journey along the way, that's the fun of it all.
